It is all too common for technicians to install separate access points labeled “Wireless Downstairs” and “Wireless Upstairs,” or something similar. A shortcut configuration like this presents several problems. Attempting to connect to the wireless network results in weak signals and slow speeds because multiple setups are required.

Westie Design uses a mesh style wireless system that acts as a signal wireless network. Your laptop, tablet, or mobile device will seamlessly connect to the closest wireless point available as you walk around the building with your wireless network “MyCompanyWifi.”. Adding additional hardware will automatically improve performance in areas where it is needed.

We can also assist you with connecting buildings within line of sight of one another. It is ideal if a cable could be run between buildings, but this is often not possible. Alternatively, a wireless bridge could be used to link the two buildings so that they function as if they were connected by a single cable.
